Volunteer Opportunities

Being a volunteer firefighter is about one thing.  It's not what you look like, what degree you have, or where you come from.  It's about heart.  If you've got the heart to serve this community in a way that few can, you've got everything we need.  Most of our members have full time jobs and find time to serve your community.

The Volunteer Firefighter/Emergency Medical Technician (Volunteer FF/EMT) serves the community by responding to a wide variety of situations, ranging from emergencies that immediately threaten life or property to routine citizen requests for information or assistance. They perform within a scope of policies and procedures, and they perform duties in the following general categories: fire suppression, emergency medical aid or rescue, hazardous material responses, training, and public education.
