Gretna Fire and Rescue serves the western part of Sarpy County in Nebraska. The fire side is supported with tax dollars while the EMS side is supported by various donations. Both sides are staffed by dedicated and well trained volunteers .

We are currently looking for volunteers in the Tiburon, Cinnamon Acres, Lake Ridge Estates, Cheyenne Estates, and Palisades areas. Please call 402-332-3336, ext 352 and leave a message for someone to call you back; in order to receive more information on this and other volunteer opportunities.
Burn Permits are available at the main fire station on Thursdays from 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. No appointment is needed to obtain a permit. You may also call 402-332-3336, ext 352 and leave a message for someone to call you back regarding a burn permit. You may also email the fire chief.
