The City’s Contractor, Pavers, Inc., will begin asphalt pavement resurfacing on Pawnee Drive between Westplains Road and Michael Drive; Westplains Road between McKenna Ave and Chippewa Circle; South Street between Wesgaye Street and Scott Street; and along 203rd Street and Vanlea Drive, and Jeannie Lane and 202nd Street on Wednesday, July 16th. Construction is expected to last 4 days, weather permitting.
The Contractor will cold mill all of the existing street pavement on each street section within two days, perform any street base repairs and place the new street pavement within the last two days.
Access to the homes and streets will be maintained during the cold milling operations with flaggers. Short term access will be restricted to driveways during the placement of the new asphalt paving scheduled for Friday, July 18th. Parking will not be allowed on streets during construction.
