It is that time of year where we expect signage to start popping up all over. The City of Gretna encourages you to check the City's zoning regulations regarding signs prior to placing them throughout the community. Temporary signs (including political signs) may NOT be placed in the public right-of-way. All such signs shall not be erected more than 45 days before an election and shall be removed no later than 10 days after the election. Signs are to be placed on private property, with permission from the property owner, along with meeting the size requirements.
