The Park Advisory Committee serves as an advisory body to the Mayor & City Council. They make recommendations on all park related concerns and issues. The Committee is established by the Mayor and City Council for the purpose of planning, promoting, and maintaining a diverse park system for residents of all ages. Functions of the Committee include receiving resident input, conducting surveys, addressing funding strategies, evaluating and recommending capital improvements for new and existing park facilities. The Park Committee consists of 5 members appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by the City Council for a term of three years.
