The Gretna Community Center’s mission will be to provide the citizens of Gretna and surrounding town’s opportunities to promote, develop, and maintain social, educational, and recreational activities.

The function of the Community Center Committee is to determine and analysis the needs of Gretna and the surrounding communities in regards to a multigenerational community center facility.  This committee will research through various avenues the best way to fill these needs. They will take into consideration input from the community, tour various other community centers in our area, and obtain feedback from other community leaders as to what could work best for our community.
